The Brownstones To Red Dirt Postcard Art Benefit is an extension of the the film Brownstones To Red Dirt about a pen pal program between a group of at-risk sixth graders living in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and war orphans living in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The auction of original postcards is a fundraising effort to build a school for the orphans in Freetown and create a library for the youth at their school in Bed-Stuy.
